In view of his noble endeavors, De Prof has inveterate the fact that nothing can prevent us from aspiring and actually becoming the best that we were made to be, even as we live a life of service to humanity.

Below are some of his humble contributions to the growth and development of the human race both within and outside his native community of Kabong Village in Jos.

 

Ø  He was the First Place Winner and ‘Regional Representative’ for Northern Nigeria at the ‘Alive 2000’ Music Concerts / Competitions organized by the Society for Family Health (SFH) and Family Health International (FHI) and funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Jos 2000 and Lagos 2001 after he (a.k.a. ‘RANKING DC) emerged winner of the regional finals.

 

Ø  He also won the ‘Best Gospel Artist’ at the ‘Promo Awards 2000’ in 2000.

 

Ø  He was an active member of the ‘Community Theater for Reproductive Health Awareness’ in Kabong and other communities around Jos under the behavioral change project of the SFH in 2001 – 2003.

 

Ø  As a ‘Volunteer’ and later ‘Program Officer’ with Youngsters Foundation, he initiated and carried out ‘Positive Vibes’ a media education campaign in five secondary schools on the Plateau. (2003 - 2004).

 

Ø  At the age of 28 years, one of his books SKILLS was published in 2006 by the British Council founded by the DFID in partnership with Youngstars Foundation under the ‘How To…Series’ (2004-2006)

 

Ø  He has written three (3) other unpublished books and several ‘training manuals’.

 

Ø  He was a ‘Volunteer Trainer’ with British Council ‘Global Xchange II’ a team of 10 Nigerian and 9 European youths from Glasgow, Scotland to Jos, Nigeria (2005 - 2006)

 

Ø  He is currently the ‘State Coordinator’ in charge of Plateau State for British Council ‘Top 12 Youth Works Projectunder Youngstars Foundation (2006 – 2008).

 

Ø  He has conducted ‘Skill Acquisition Trainings’ for young people in Dadin Kowa at Youngstars Foundation, for prison inmates in Jos prison with the Danish Youth Partnership Team and for elderly women in Rantya Low-cost under the Catholic Women Organisation and in other communities (2003 – 2007)

 

Ø  He was a ‘Contents Consultant’, ‘Technical Writer’ and ‘Facilitator’ for British Council and Youngstars Foundation; ‘How To… Book Series’ founded by the DFID (2003 – 2005), ‘Top 12 Youth Works Project’ (2005 – 2008), ‘Nigeria Youth E-Forum’ (2007), ‘Shine Plateau Youth TV Show’ (2008), Youth Lens Accountability Initiative’ (2008), ‘K.B. Price For Leadership’ (2008) etc.

 

Ø  He was one of the event consultants for the British Council ‘Cultural Rap Rapture’ tour of Mecca II Medina a Muslim rap group from the United Kingdom. (2007)

 

Ø  He had also conducted a two-day ‘Capacity Building Training Workshop’ for the University of Jos Youth Friendly Center Facilitators. (2008)

 

Ø  He was the First in Africa! to finish the ‘Track A Training’ of the World Youth Alliance (2006 - 2007).

 

Ø  He was accredited as aCertified Member’ of the World Youth Alliance at The International Youth Conference Calabar’ where he also delivered an exhaustive lecture titled; Individual Responsibilities in Promoting Good Governance in Africa’.(2007)

 

Ø  He was identified and selected as one of the best candidates to represent Africa at the International Solidarity Forum (ISF) New York. (2008)

 

Ø    He has initiated many other interesting youth development projects under The PTC, some of which include; ‘Promo Arts Exhibition’, ‘Music Training and Mentorship Class’, ‘Rock Against Drug Abuse’, ‘Raising Star Awards’, ‘Faith 2 Faith Jam’ amongst others. (2004 - 2008)
